Ingenius!

I guess since those underground drug tunnels have been discovered, smugglers have resorted to the next best thing. A giant weed catapult.

TUCSON - Smugglers using a catapult to launch marijuana across the border were observed on a remote video surveillance system, and National Guard troops coordinated with Mexican authorities to disrupt the far-flung operation.

I'm not sure if I should ask why it took so long to come up with this idea or what took so long to figure out this was happening. Either way it's quite amusing! Maybe someone can make a new version of Angry Birds out of this? Flinging drug dealers at border patrol?

Pretty Ponies

This is absolutely fantastic. Someone redesigned a bunch of My Little Ponies to look like celebrities. My personal favorite is Han Solo:

Sucky Sucky

As an adult with a juvenile sense of humor, this story kind of made my morning.

A woman was partially paralyzed from a hickey that caused her to have a small stroke, the New Zealand Medical Journal said according to a media report.

The 44-year-old New Zealander went to the emergency room after she found that she couldn't move her left arm while she was watching TV, The Christchurch Press reported.

The woman is 44! GET IT GURL. Be sure to keep this hickey threat in mind as we are approaching Valentine's day.

"They found a 'love bite' on her neck..."

Green robot defeats fruit

As an Apple fangirl who uses an Android phone, this makes me happy!

Mobile advertising network Millenial Media announced today that the Android OS has surpassed Apple’s iOS as the leading smartphone OS on its network.

The news lends further support for a prediction Gartner Research made in September: that the open-source Android OS would be the leading smartphone OS by 2014.

My original defense against the iPhone was that I couldn't bring myself to use AT&T. But now that the phone is on Verizon, I will need better excuses. Deep down, I know that Android makes a better phone, but I just want it to sync with my iTunes!

While we're on the subject, does anyone else notice that some users (40-50+, although some in their 20s as well) have a legitimate hatred for Apple products, except the iPhone? That always perplexed me...
